Orlando’s hand is carved in natural Adriatic red coral (Corallium Rubrum) and holds symbols of the column and Dubrovnik- a shield, sword, a galleon, emblem of Dubrovnik and a meter noting Dubrovnik cubit- 51,2cm. crafted in our signature oxidized silver with 18 kt gold fusion.

Orlando Dubrovnik capsule collection is an homage to Dubrovnik\’s oldest statue and symbol of freedom- Orlando\’s column. This medieval knight, also known as Roland, was the most important symbol of freedom, independence and order in Republic of Ragusa and Orlando’s forearm holding a sword and the base under his feet were the standard measurement for fabric called Dubrovnik cubit, measuring exactly 51,2 cm.
Inspired by antique jewelry used as an amulet, a talisman or a lucky charm Orlando collection tells a story using symbols, corals, silver and gold. A perfect blend of artisan craft and symbols, old and new, modern and traditional and your forever memento of Dubrovnik and its values.
Our signature use of silver and gold fusion intricately blends together silver and 18kt gold to create a nice contrast. Organic 18kt gold details are torch fused to the silver, and then oxidized for a one-of-a-kind finish that with time and wear reflects the uniqueness of its wearer.
Clara Stones uses genuine and authentic precious red coral Corallium rubrum. Our coral is sustainably sourced from Adriatic and Mediterranean Sea, completely natural and handcrafted using traditional artisanal methods and tools. No artificial chemicals or materials are used in the process to change its colour. Natural imperfections or inclusions are the nature of coral and organic materials and we think add to their beauty and not to be considered a flaw.
